Mounting Instructions for Maximum Efficiency

The tests delicately applied till the products are manufactured in the facilities and get ready for shipping, are one of the significant factors to achieve excellence. However also the users must respect some instructions when mounting the panels in order to secure maximum efficiency. 
          1. One of the most important points to pay attention before starting to mount is to determine the direction of the wind. The assembly must be performed towards the opposite direction of the wind.
          2. Number of hooks and screws must be determined as to the strength of the wind and the quantity required by the details. (Minimum 2.5 pieces/m2)
          3. Attention must be paid in order not to crush the plates during assembly; when walking on the roof, rubber shoes with flat base and without heels  and planks must be used.
          4. The plates must be overlapped on each other at least 15 cm on the roof, and at least 10 cm on the surface.
          5. For lengthwise conjunctions clinches must be applied with 35-40 cm. Intervals.
          6. Points open to wind effects such as eaves and edges must be attached to horizontal beams with more frequent intervals.
          7. On roofs with low inclination, silicone must be applied to conjunction places.
          8. In order to avoid direct contact of materials such as steel beam, concrete and plaster with metal, the horizontal beams must be insulated with paint or any suitable material.

Connecting plates to each other

Lengthwise Conjunction
The most practical application of conjunction of corrugated plates together is "POP RIVET". It is applied as approximately 4 pieces per square meter of roof surface.
Transverse Conjunction
Hooks or screws are used when connecting corrugated plates with horizontal horizontal beams and each other. Roof coating can be single or double folded; thus approximately 2.5 pieces of conjunction elements are required for every fold per square meter.

Having newly joined into the product range of Erk Çatı, FORM PRESS is the general name of the curve accessories used for the single fold corrugated or polyurethane-based roof and surface coating materials.
As in every Erk Çatı product, joining functionality with durability and aesthetics on the same point, all of the FORM PRESS accessory varieties are produced to resist against wind and rain for years.
Contrary to the standard accessories used with other roof and surface coating materials, there is no need of installing streams on the window sill beam for the roofs and surfaces on which FORM PRESS is used; the rain water climbs down to the basement flowing from the hadveler. Thanks to this feature of FORM PRESS, no connection reinforcements, expansion joints, vertical outlays and connections are required. Furthermore FORM PRESS saves time because no streams are installed and it can be mounted quickly; and this provides that FORM PRESS is more economic when compared with the other alternatives in the same are.
